Unexpected for me as well, but I took up a job in Mumbai in 2017!
One thing I miss about my weekends in Mumbai is the sheer convenience to go for runs along the sea or bike rides on hills in the morning and still be able to go out for a drink in the evening. The city has some really good clubs and even the life out on the streets is just amazing. Mumbai takes the crown in terms of nightlife in India.
This was also the time when I took international vacations, not as a detour from work, but just to go out in summer to a new country, and have a good time off from work. And of many firsts, took my parents on a couple of these international trips. Definitely have fond memories of Mumbai.
